Hi! I’m Aubrie! Some simple facts? I am married to the love of my life, have two beautiful kiddos, and a huge black lab. I have the privilege of counseling women of all ages once a week through a Christian Discipleship Ministry and then I homeschool my children the other four days. We live a simple life surrounded by a community of people that we do life with. We make mistakes, laugh a lot, forgive often, and love Jesus. I love people but am quite the introvert…I require blocks of silence, in which to be alone with my thoughts. 🙂

Simple facts are fine, but what I would truly love would be to sit and drink coffee, (obviously) and hear your story. I don’t want facts, I want thoughts, ideas, experiences. What do you love? Where have you been? What do you know? What questions do you ask? How have you been wounded? What influences you? What dreams keep you up at night? Do you know and believe how loved and valuable and needed you are? Who do you love? What have you sacrificed? All of this leads to understanding and knowing.

I understand my world through writing. I have to write it down, document it. It’s how the Lord teaches me, speaks to me and encourages me. Words. Journals upon journals. Most of it is between He and I, this great relationship of dependence and trust, hashing out the lessons I am learning about waiting, surrender, life, identity…but sometimes it can be for others.

I desperately search and seek to experience and bask in His Glory. I want to know His heart, trust His heart. In every situation, good, bad, great and ugly I cling to the belief that God is moving and active, I want to see Him, and I believe He has given me that gift, that ability.

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.”

2 Corinthians 3:18

Through His sacrifice He removed my veil. He gave me full access to Him, brought me face to face with my living God and gave me the freedom to perceive Him and know Him as He reveals Himself to me. My life is spent on this great hunt, finding the weight of Who He is in every conceivable circumstance, drawing on His immeasurable Grace as He transforms me into the likeness of His Son.

My hearts desire is to Behold His Glory, and to encourage His people. Encourage them to stand unveiled before Him, blameless and righteous, chosen and set apart, believing who HE says they are in Christ!
